Following on from the massive success of our Drama 'Chap at the Door' we decided to produce a sequel, involving the same family and produced our new Drama 'The Aftermath' which was performed at our GRAND 2013 conference.
'The Aftermath' follows the family in the first drama and shows the devastating impact on the family following the death of their daughter and brings the issue of family members being unable to access Naloxone Kits in their own right to the forefront.
Following on from 'The Aftermath' we launched 'Lisa's Petition' which was used as a catalyst to highlight the needs for families to be able to access Naloxone Kits and this resulted in a change to legislation which enabled families to receive training and access Naloxone Kits.
As a result of families now being able to access Naloxone Training and Naloxone Kits, we are now providing Naloxone Training to any family members or service providers who may come into contact with someone at risk of an opiate overdose.
If you would like further information on either of our Drama's or have been affected by any of the issues that have been raised and would like support please do not hesitate to contact us.
